Private Investment Management (PIM) Program

The Private Investment Management (PIM) Program is a customized portfolio program aimed at achieving our clients’ specific investment goals. It is designed for investors who are seeking long-term portfolio management with a manager who can execute decisions on their behalf. After discussing our investment process, we will help identify the appropriate program to help you achieve your financial goals.

Value of the PIM Program

Why might you want to work with a PIM Manager?
  • Your portfolio is put in the hands of an experienced and trusted advisor who knows the scope of your long-term goals.
  • It frees your time from being your own asset manager.
  • It helps you reach specific investment goals and creates a mix of investments in your portfolio that is personalized to you.
  • There’s one fee based on the size of your account, as opposed to traditional trade-based commission charges.
  • It’s hands-off for you, but your PIM Manager will keep open and honest communication with you.

PIM Credentials

Wells Fargo Advisors’ PIM Portfolio Managers must meet eligibility requirements which include:
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a portfolio manager
  • Five years of financial services experience
  • Successful completion of stringent securities exams

A PIM Manager is also required to complete advanced training, including an ethics exam, proxy exam, and a 40-hour portfolio management training course. Less than 10% of the firm’s financial advisors have met the criteria to act as PIM Portfolio Managers – David Hood and Dee Warner are proud to hold this designation.

*The PIM program is not designed for excessively traded or inactive accounts and is not appropriate for all investors. Please carefully review the Wells Fargo Advisors advisory disclosure document for a full description of our services. The minimum account size for this program is $50,000.
